Product Description
Hyacinth Britannia Mix provides a vibrant blend of red, white and blue blooms, creating a bold spring display packed with colour and fragrance. Each sturdy stem carries a dense cluster of bell-shaped flowers, bringing texture and visual impact to borders, containers and seasonal bedding schemes throughout March and April.
Typically reaching around 25 cm in height, this compact mixture performs best in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. The richly scented flower spikes provide up to six weeks of seasonal interest, while their strong stems and manageable proportions make them particularly effective in larger drifts and mass plantings.
The striking colour combination pairs beautifully with Tulips, Narcissi and Muscaris, while silver-leaved foliage plants help accentuate the richness of the red, white and blue tones. Blending structure, scent and vibrant colour, this mix creates an uplifting spring display across a wide range of garden settings.
We guarantee our great value mixture packs contain a comprehensive blend of variety and colours. By definition, the components of the mixtures are not labelled/named on arrival.

Growing at a glance…
Wear gloves when handling Hyacinth bulbs, as they can irritate the skin. Plant in the ground with their noses pointing to the sky. Dig a hole that is 10cm deep, and space them 7.5cm apart at a minimum. This spacing will work for both borders and containers. Ensure soil is well-drained, as you don't want to waterlog the soil.
