Tivoli' is a spectacular bicolour Hydrangea that will produce eye-catching flower clusters throughout summer, from June to September. The beautiful blooms will appear in purple and blue shades with a striking white rim around the edge of the petals and sit on a bed of neat, serrated foliage. A fantastic choice for pots on the patio (as illustrated), 'Tivoli' will make an amazing compact feature plant in the summer garden. Top tip: plant in acid soil, or use an acid tonic to keep those blues, blue. Flowers June to September. Height 1-1.5m. 2 Litre pot plants supplied.

Make sure that the hydrangea receives lots of water when the summer comes. Hydrangeas are very low maintenance and will need little pruning, but can be done in spring as new shoots appear. The old shoots should be left in the winter and not removed until spring. Apply a mulch annually to protect from winter colds.Hydrangeas can be grown in fertile, well drained soil and often prefer a shady location.
