Product Description

A firm favourite within British gardens, this collection of Iris germanica create a breath-taking selection of colours that are a great addition to the summer display. Planted individually or together they will produce an eye-catching feature within garden borders, patio containers and make striking cut-flower displays to be enjoyed within the home. Each Iris variety has three showy ruffled petals that stand on sturdy green stems that reach a mature height of 65cm. Flowering from May to June, these hardy perennials will grow best in sunny areas of the garden in fertile, well-drained soil. Our collection includes one of each variety: Iris germanica Festive Skirt (pale salmon/cream), Fortunate Son (maroon/purple), Gala Madrid (wine purple), Joyce Terry (yellow), Latest Style (blue/white) and Superstition (purple/black). Growing at a glance…

Protect from excessive winter wet and colds. Plant on arrival in full sun or in partial shade. They will thrive in moist and relatively fertile soil. Loose root supplied, which are easy to plant. Soak for 2-3 hours before planting and pop into their desired spot in the garden.
