A rustic Iris pumila variety, 'Gypsy Boy' produces buttery yellow petals above chocolate bronze reflexing petals with a purple stamen. These extraordinary flowers stand at a height of 35cm on sturdy stems surrounded by narrow lime green foliage that seem to highlight the vivid flowers. A distinctive hardy perennial, these beautiful flowers are slightly fragrant so we recommend planting in areas where this can be enjoyed such as the front of the garden border or containers for the patio or decking. Plant alongside contrasting colours of Iris pumila for more a creative display and a touch of elegance to the summer garden. These enchanting flowers begin to bloom in May through to June where they will also make a wonderful fresh-cut flower display. First grade loose root plants supplied.
