This stunning variety of 'Compact Super Scented' Lavender produces beautifully fragrant purple flowers that stand atop grey-grey spiky leaves. This traditional English favourite is a great pollinator attracting butterflies and bees into the summer garden with the flowers blooming from June to September. The attractive flowers have a strong sweet fragrance and can be brought into the home as part of a cut-flower display or used in dried arrangements where they can keep linen and clothes smelling sweet and fresh. Reaching a mature height of 35cm, these compact evergreen shrubs can be potted in patio containers or planted at the front of the border where the fragrance can be enjoyed. Carefully trim back in April. If grown for drying cut the flowers before they open.Plant out as soon as possible. Plant in well dug prepared soil. Ideally planted to edge paths and borders as illustrated or in small groups around the garden.
