Leek Heirloom Blue De Solaise is a French heirloom variety that produces blue-ish green leaves. A hardy choice for the garden, and will hold its own against bouts of frost. Holds impressive flavour, perfect for any stew or dish throughout the winter months.

Growing at a glance…
Sow seeds from January to February under glass, or from March to April directly outside in position. To sow indoors, place seeds sideways roughly 1cm deep in pots or trays filled with compost. Harden off indoor grown seedlings from April, planting out to 25-30cm apart. When sowing directly outside, do so thinly in drills that are spaced 30cm apart. Water regularly, especially in dry periods.
