A stunning collection of five, large flowering oriental lilies that produce vibrant flowers that have unusual markings. The star-shaped flowers are highly fragrant and produce a delightful summer show within borders and patio pots or as cut flower display within the home. The large flower heads bloom in profusion on sturdy stems growing to a height of 120cm. Planted in the right location Oriental lilies can be left undisturbed and will flower for up to eight weeks in August-September. This wonderful collection includes five each of: Stargazer (red), Casa Blanca (white), Curly Sue (pink), Baferarri (white with yellow markings) and Brasilia (white with pink edge). 14-16cm bulbs supplied.

When planting, each bulb should surrounded with a little sharp sand both under and above the bulb to keep slugs away and to ward off excessive wetness. As most liliums are stem rooting we strongly recommend you plant at 15cm deep. They give a muchbetter display when planted in clumps of3,6 or 12 bulbs, 45cm apart. Planting time is December to April.
Lilium bulbs will greatly appreciate the shelter of low growing shrubs or other plants near their roots. In active growth, apply water freely and it is advised that every two weeks you apply a high potash liquid fertilizer.
