Product Description
Also known as Chinese fountain grass 'Red Head,' this clump-forming perennial will produce large, early bottlebrush flowers in summer which open red and gradually fade to purple/brown as the seasons progress. The smoky plumes soar above a mass of long and narrow green foliage that will turn golden in autumn. A holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this grass makes a striking feature plant within the garden border. Flowers August to September. Height 80cm. 7cm diameter power modules supplied.

A fantastic grass that originates from woodland/mountain regions of Africa and Asia.
