Originating from the Himalayas, 'Red Dragon' is a striking perennial plant that reaches a mature height of 50cm. Large lance shaped purple-green leaves grow that have a dark purple centre and a silvery border on each leaf. A vigorous spreading perennial, 'Red Dragon' is a fascinating variety that is ideal for ground cover or planted in containers due to their unique foliage. From June through to September, bell-shaped pink flowers bloom to provide added interest and a showy display. We recommend planting in well-drained, fertile soil in sunny or partially shaded locations where they will thrive. First grade loose rooted plants supplied.
