Rich purple flowers with golden throats burst open from April to June. This delightful shrub is evergreen, producing all year round interest in bed and borders and with its compact habit it can be grown in containers for smaller gardens. Holds the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit for reliable performance, stability of colour and form and good resistance to pests and diseases.
