Product Description

These Luxurious blooms of ivory white coloured Floribunda Roses have an apricot centre making them the perfect addition for adding some elegance to the summer garden. A well-deserved winner of the Rose of the Year Award in 2006, the large blossoms sit above dark green deciduous foliage that make them really stand out. Flowering from June to September, these are a long flowering variety, have a good disease resistance and will reach a mature height of 80cm, making them a great choice for garden borders or containers for the patio. 'Champagne Moment' has a mild but sweet fragrance and makes a wonderful bouquet or gift to others. We recommend planting in sunny areas in fertile, well-drained soil where they will flourish. Top quality two-year-old Rose bare rooted bushes are supplied and ready to be planted on arrival. Please note: Fragrant rose's perfume is usually the most potent on warm, sunny days, while sat in moist soil. Its important to imitate these conditions, as it will release the fragrant chemicals within the flowers. High humidity increases the longevity of the fragrance as it reduces the chance of the chemicals evaporating.

Planting Notes

Planting Plant in a hole large enough to take the roots when fully outspread.
Soil Type Fertile, humus rich and well drained soil

Growing at a glance…

Roses should be planted firmly, to ensure that wind will not disrupt the roots. Apply a balanced fertiliser every 3-4 weeks in the spring/summer, and apply a mulch in the winter for protection. Can be pruned back to remove any dead wood or growth. It is best to plant roses in winter or early spring, provided there is little frost. To prepare your bare rose roots, soak them in a bucket of water for an hour to 24 hours (longer in spring). Then, dig a hole large enough to house the roots when fully outspread. Distribute the roots evenly around the hole and put in a little bit of fine soil to which has been added a small amount of bonemeal. Fill in with the rest of the soil over the roots and tread in firmly. The depth of planting roses will vary between 10-20cm, or as deep as they were in their pots.
