Product Description

Floribunda Roses are an excellent choice for adding colour and elegance to your summer garden, where they produce multiple clusters of large blossom per stem. 'Korresia' is a cheerful variety that has buttery-yellow petals, standing out against the dark glossy green foliage. Flowering June to September, these joyful flowers are full of character and emit a sweet fragrance that can be enjoyed when planted at the front of garden borders or within patio containers. They will also make eye-catching cut-flower arrangements to be enjoyed within the home. We recommend planting with contrasting colours of Floribunda Roses to make a colourful feature and a real talking piece within the garden. Top-quality two-year-old bare rooted Roses are supplied. Please note: Fragrant rose's perfume is usually the most potent on warm, sunny days, while sat in moist soil. Its important to imitate these conditions, as it will release the fragrant chemicals within the flowers. High humidity increases the longevity of the fragrance as it reduces the chance of the chemicals evaporating.

Planting Notes

Planting Plant in a hole large enough to take the roots when fully outspread.
Soil Type Fertile, humus rich and well drained soil

Growing at a glance…

Roses should be planted firmly, to ensure that wind will not disrupt the roots. Apply a balanced fertiliser every 3-4 weeks in the spring/summer, and apply a mulch in the winter for protection. Can be pruned back to remove any dead wood or growth. It is best to plant roses in winter or early spring, provided there is little frost. To prepare your bare rose roots, soak them in a bucket of water for an hour to 24 hours (longer in spring). Then, dig a hole large enough to house the roots when fully outspread. Distribute the roots evenly around the hole and put in a little bit of fine soil to which has been added a small amount of bonemeal. Fill in with the rest of the soil over the roots and tread in firmly. The depth of planting roses will vary between 10-20cm, or as deep as they were in their pots.
