Rose Tickled Pink presents vibrant clusters of sumptuous pink blooms framed by healthy dark glossy foliage. Winner of the Rose of the Year 2007, this vigorous floribunda variety with its upright even habit is perfect choice for a mixed bed or summer border display. Floribunda roses are an excellent choice as they will bear colourful blooms in large clusters on each stem throughout the summer months, flowering June to September. We supply only top quality two year old rose bushes, bare rooted and wrapped to prevent roots drying out. These are pruned back and ready to be planted on arrival. Roses need deadheading in late winter or early spring, but to make the task more enjoyable you can simply cut the stems in bud and enjoy your roses indoors as they make excellent cut flowers. Please note: Fragrant rose's perfume is usually the most potent on warm, sunny days, while sat in moist soil. Its important to imitate these conditions, as it will release the fragrant chemicals within the flowers. High humidity increases the longevity of the fragrance as it reduces the chance of the chemicals evaporating.

Growing at a glance…
Roses should be planted firmly, to ensure that wind will not disrupt the roots. Apply a balanced fertiliser every 3-4 weeks in the spring/summer, and apply a mulch in the winter for protection. Can be pruned back to remove any dead wood or growth. It is best to plant roses in winter or early spring, provided there is little frost. To prepare your bare rose roots, soak them in a bucket of water for an hour to 24 hours (longer in spring). Then, dig a hole large enough to house the roots when fully outspread. Distribute the roots evenly around the hole and put in a little bit of fine soil to which has been added a small amount of bonemeal. Fill in with the rest of the soil over the roots and tread in firmly. The depth of planting roses will vary between 10-20cm, or as deep as they were in their pots.
