Salvia Gigantimo Bluestripe

Often called Sage, this beautiful, upright border plant produces attractive flower spikes, violet-blue and white. The flowers stand on strong stems at a height of 80cm. These hardy plants are ideal for attracting butterflies and bees into the garden and flower from June through to September to create a long-lasting display. An ideal choice for injecting colour borders or, for those with smaller gardens, they can be added to pots and containers to brighten up the patio or near doorways. Height and spread 80cm. Unpack immediately upon arrival and give them a little water if needed. If potting up into containers, use a balanced compost (that is not too peaty) as it is inclined to produce a hard crust if allowed to dry. We recommend a John Innes Compost No 2.
Water freely during the growing season and make sure to dead-head regularly to prolong flowering.
