A superb collection of Salvia or Sage as it is often called, it produces upright border plants with attractive flower spikes. Standing on strong and sturdy stems up to 80cm, they are the ideal choice for injecting colour borders or, for those with smaller gardens, they can be added to pots and containers to brighten up the patio or near doorways. These hardy plants are ideal for attracting butterflies and bees into the garden and flower from June through to September to create a long-lasting display. The collection includes two each of Blue Stripes (violet-blue and white), Pink Kisses and Purple. Height and spread 80cm. UK grown 3cm jumbo plug plants supplied.

Planting

Plant in a hole deep enough to accommodate the roots

Soil Type

Fertile, well drained or a balanced compost.

Pruning

Deadhead, as necessary

Unpack immediately upon arrival and give them a little water if needed. If potting up into containers, use a balanced compost (that is not too peaty) as it is inclined to produce a hard crust if allowed to dry. We recommend a John Innes Compost No 2.
Water freely during the growing season and make sure to dead-head regularly to prolong flowering.
