Syringa vulgaris Madame Lemoine is an old fashioned double flowering Syringa which is now deservedly back in Vogue. Also known as Lilac, Madame Lemoine is a bushy medium sized deciduous shrub. Dense clustered panicles of pure white flowers rest over luscious forest green heart shaped leaves. It can reach a mature height of up to 2-3m but can withstand vigorous pruning so can be kept to any manageable size to suit your garden. Holds the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit for its reliable performance, stability of colour and form and good resistance to pests and diseases. 30-40cm bare rooted plant supplied.
