A unique bi-colour variety, Syringa vulgaris Sensation, also known as Lilac tree. Cool blue-green heart shaped foliage rests under the vivid blooms of deep violet with a distinctive chalk white edge. It can reach a mature height of up to 3m but can withstand vigorous pruning so can be kept to any manageable size to suit your garden. Holds the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit for its reliable performance, stability of colour and form and good resistance to pests and diseases. The sweet scented blooms are lovely addiction to the garden, flowering throughout May and June. Bare rooted 40-60cm plant supplied.
