Product Description
This Saxatilis Tulip bears up to three flowers per stem in late April and early May. Flower heads are a soft shade of lilac with a bright sunny yellow centre. It reaches a height of just 15cm, making it the perfect choice for borders, rockeries and pots. They also make for great cut-flower displays for within the home. Plant beside other botanical varieties for a large spread of ground cover, or plant alone in large quantities. The subtle colour and compact habit make them wonderful for planting in clusters or drifts.

Growing at a glance…
Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered, you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
