Product Description
Sky High Scarlet is a splendid single late Tulip variety which really lives up to its name. It produces vibrant scarlet red flowers at a towering height of up to 90cm, making it possibly one of the tallest Tulip varieties around. The stems are strong for their height but they are a little more prone to wind damage than shorter varieties so some protection or shelter will certainly benefit these Tulips. They are perfect for borders or patio pots and make excellent cut flowers for the vase.

Growing at a glance…
Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered, you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
