Product Description
Winner of the Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year Award 2015, Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum Kilimanjaro is a new and hardy award winning shrub. It produces an abundance of pure white flowers in attractive clusters from early summer, followed by pink-red berries in late summer to early autumn. The foliage and flowers grow in layers on tiered branches, resembling a snow covered mountain (true to its namesake!) In autumn, the foliage turns shades of burnt orange and gold, and in winter the berries will provide a valuable source of food for winter birds. An elegant addition to the border and patio containers. Eventual height 3m. 9.5cm pot grown plants supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Viburnum are fully hardy plants that will bear beautiful/colourful flowers. They can be cut back after flowering (deciduous types) or in May (evergreen types). Viburnum prefer well cultivated soil, but will grow in most fertile, well drained soil. They like to be planted in areas of sun or partial shade, and should be planted to avoid strong winds.
