Product Description
The wood from Euonymus europaeus Red Cascade was traditionally used for making spindles, but these days its primary use is for brightening up barren winter gardens, as a colourful garden shrub. The foliage begins mid green with pale green flowers in summer, with the foliage turning to blazing scarlet in autumn followed by fleshy, orange-coated seed pods which attract birds. Mature plants will produce gorgeous purple berries, too. 30-60cm bare rooted plants supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Little pruning required but you can remove any unwanted or badly formed shoots in late winter/early spring. The Euonymus (Spindle Tree) can be planted in most types of well drained, relatively fertile soil. It is best to plant them in full sun or partial shaded areas.
