Product Description
Helenium 'Helena Red' produces deep maroon giant blooms similar to that of a daisy. With flecks of orange on the outer edges of the petals, these stunning flowers stand atop sturdy stems and reach a height of 50cm. This clump forming perennial attracts butteries and bees in the garden and flourish if planted in well-drained fertile soil. Ideal for patio containers or garden borders where they can help to make a feature if planted alongside contrasting colours of Helenium.

Growing at a glance…
Apply mulch in winter to help protect against the cold. Deadhead regularly to promote new flowers. Suitable for planting in all types of well drained garden soil. They work best once planted in sunny location. To plant them in the border, dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the entire root ball. Do this until the top of the soil from the module is just below the top of the pot. Fill around the modules with soil and firm them down gently. To plant them within a wall, find an opening and pack it halfway with soil. Then, take the module and pop it in the hole, making sure it's sturdy by packing soil around it. Water well.
