Product Description
Turkenlouis' is an eye-catching oriental Poppy variety that produces beautiful vivid red flowers in a deeply fringed bowl shape; where each flower has a dark purple stamen that contrasts beautifully against the bright petals. The flowers blossom from May through to July and are held on strong 80cm green stems that are surrounded by furry foliage. Their unique appearance makes an interesting feature when planted in containers, rockeries or the front of the garden border. They are easy to grow and maintain and make effective cut flower displays to be enjoyed indoors. A hardy perennial, we recommend planting in sunny or partially shaded areas in fertile, well-drained soil for the best results. First grade loose roots supplied.
