Product Description
This handsome Korean fir is a great architectural addition to the garden. A tall, conical conifer producing dark green needles (their undersides silver grey) with violet-purple cylindrical cones that will grow even when the plant is very young. With its slow growing, neat compact habit this dense evergreen is low maintenance, no pruning required, thriving in moist but well-drained slightly acidic soil in full sunlight. Holds the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit for its reliable performance, stability of colour and form, and good resistance to pests and diseases. Mature height 10m and spread 6m. Root ball 20-25cm plant supplied.
