Product Description

Our mixed Tiger Dutch Iris selection provides lush mixes of colours - perfect for adding a pop of colour to your garden. The Dutch Iris' unique veining and flashes of yellows make it a plant full of character, and can make a real impact when planted in drifts through the border. The Dutch Iris makes an exquisite cut flower, and with their strong, straight stems, you won't be able to resist placing them in your summer bouquets (we recommend you plant more than you need in a garden for this reason.) The Dutch Iris belongs amongst the most hardy and accommodating plants, flourishing everywhere in the country in almost any condition. It's no surprise then, that the Dutch Iris has established itself as a garden favourite. This is a combination of earlier flowering Dutch Iris, in May/June. 7-8cm bulbs supplied. Height 50-60cm.
We guarantee our great value mixture packs contain a comprehensive blend of variety and colours. By definition the components of the mixtures are not labelled/named on arrival.

Growing at a glance…

Bulbs are to be planted 8cm deep and about 10-12cm apart, in well-drained soil. Ensure the bulbs are planted somewhere that has plenty of access to sun. For best results, plant your Iris bulbs from mid to late autumn to then see them flower in early spring or mid-summer. Take some care to prevent slugs and snails from attacking the iris once planted. Most Dutch iris are only suitable for planting in the garden or in a cool greenhouse or a cold frame.
