Galanthus nivalis

The much loved traditional small Snowdrops. Galanthus nivalis boasts honey scented nodding flower heads with pure white outer tepals surrounding smaller inner tepals often marked green at the tip. Fine grey-green 10-12cm stems sport strap shaped leaves. This hardy bulb holds the Award of Garden Merit. To be planted in partial shade where they will naturalise when planted in well-drained soil, can be grown in containers but should be lifted after the growing season. Flowers February-March. Top size 4cm+ bulbs supplied.
