Fuchsia Autumnale

Trailing Fuchsia

Fuchsia Autumnale

OUT OF STOCK
Fuchsia austromontana 'Autumnale' is a new spreading Fuchsia variety with variegated green and pink foliage and bright pink-red flowers. Ideal for planting as part of a border, or in patio pots and containers, you will get a fantastic display through the summer when it flowers from July until the autumn. As the season progresses the leaves gradually get darker with their 'Autumnal' colours. Originating from Peru and Bolivia this plant is not hardy and, although it's not typically an 'annual' in it's natural environment, it will not tolerate any frosts or freezing. 3cm diameter UK grown plug plants supplied.

Pruning

Deadhead as required to encourage further growth spurts

Unpack immediately upon arrival and give them a little water if needed. If potting up into containers, use a balanced compost (that is not too peaty) as it is inclined to produce a hard crust if allowed to dry. We recommend a John Innes Compost No two.
Water freely during the growing season and make sure to dead-head regularly to prolong flowering.
