Growing at a glance…
When planting choose a sheltered position, preferably one where plants can remain undisturbed for several years. Dig a hole in your preferred area and space each bulb its own width apart from each other. Plant each bulb just below the soil surface, using mulch to cover the area when it's still chilly outside. This will keep the bulbs from freezing, ruining their chance of flowering the following year. Leave them to naturalise over winter.
