Product Description
After an exciting vegetable to jazz up your favourite dish? This Purple Sprouting Broccoli lives up to its name, producing a deep purple head, rather than the classic green. This plant is frost hardy, allowing you to grow it in the colder months. If you cut the main head early, the plant will continue to grow side heads through late spring. Protect this plant from birds and pests. Sow seeds inside from March to June, or outside from April to July.

Growing at a glance…
Sow seeds in a pot or seed tray. Once seedlings have grown some, pinch out the top of the plant to the first set of leaves and transplant into a larger pot for growing. When growing outside, make sure all stones, rocks, and large clumps of dirt have been removed and add fertilizer. These plants are safe to transplant outside when they reach about 5-9cm tall. Grow in rows and ensure the soil stays moist. Cover with a mesh fleece to keep out birds and pests.
