Product Description
A fabulous new addition to our fruit range, Chokeberry is an extremely hardy deciduous shrub with an upright habit. It will provide multi-seasonal interest in the garden. In spring, dark green leaves are followed by fragrant clusters of white star- shaped flowers, often pink-blushed. As the season progresses the glossy leaves turn reddish-purple in autumn, and in summer the branches will droop with clusters of blackberries. The berries are an excellent source of antioxidants, they can be eaten raw and are delicious when cooked. They are also an valuable source of food for birds. 9cm pot plants supplied.
