Product Description

Empathy Rootgrow Biofertiliser for Acers 1kg is full of vital micro-organisms that improves the nutrients in the soil, the plant's health, and encourages growth. The ingredients in this biofertiliser have been specially selected and blended to give your Acers everything they need to develop and grow to their maximum potential. A peat-free fertiliser that will help the plant to absorb more water, nutrients, and to produce more foliage. The key ingredient that makes this product different from others is the addition of micorrhizal fungi. This fungi naturally occurs in nature, helping the plant to grow a root system up to triple its usual size. This helps the plant absorb even more water and nutrients from the soil than it would ever have done, encouraging a healthier and thriving plant.

Planting Notes

Growing at a glance…

One handful of this product is roughly 50g. For most acers, it's recommended to use half a handful. Sprinkle the product onto the soil around the base of the plant, working it into the soil. Water well after application. It is recommended that once a year, the top layer of soil is removed and replaced with fresh compost. Reapply the feed after doing this. Can be used twice throughout the growing season. For top dressing soil grown acers, apply 100g per square metre and work the product into the soil gently with a garden fork. This product isn't a substitute for rootgrow products, which you apply at the point of planting.
