All of our bare-rooted plants are grown in a nursery field through the summer growing season and are then lifted from the end of September when the plants naturally enter dormancy in preparation for the winter months. This is the perfect time to transport and transplant bare-rooted plants. They are then root wrapped with moist material in preparation for packing and despatch to you along with other hardy plants you may have ordered.
