Product Description
This breath-taking dwarf Iris is a real stand out variety that is sure to catch everybody's attention in early spring. Gorgeous canary yellow orchid-like flowers will bring energy to any border, with each petal carefully adorned with light brown freckles. These cheerful flowers are ideal for welcoming back the sun after a dark, cold winter. You can plant Danfordiae in pots for the patio, plant them in window boxes, or even plant them en masse at the front of the border, for a blaze of sunshine. Height 10-15cm. Flowering February-March. 5cm+ bulbs supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Iris Reticulata is the earliest Iris to flower in the new year. Appearing from March, these flowers thrive in well-drained, neutral soil. No pruning is required of this flower - simply allow them to die back after flowering in the spring and cut the foliage down to the ground. This allows the bulb to soak up all the nutrients from the sun. Plant the bulbs at twice their depth and about 5-10cm apart. Can be planted from May to October for them to flower in early spring.
