Mulberries, also know as Morus nigra are an excellent plant producing tasty edible fruit and attractive dark green foliage. The delicious fruit starts pale green, turning raspberry pink whilst ripening and eventually turning dark red and black when fully ripe. Excellent for pies and tarts or even just eaten on its own. This uncommon fruit is perfect for growing yourself in patio pots where they prefer direct or partial sunlight. Fruits from August through to September and grows to a mature height up to 8metres. Can be kept pruned to a managable height and spread. 9cm pot plants supplied.
