Bi-coloured Oxalis Versicolor (Candy Cane Sorrel) is a bulb which produces spectacular, other-worldly flowers. Unusually beautiful in full bloom, they are even more stunning when they have not quite opened up completely and display a red and white swirling pattern. They can be planted in the garden, a planter on the patio or in a window box. Height 10-15cm. Flowering October-January. Top size bulbs supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Water Oxalis bulbs freely during growing season, but ensure not to waterlog the soil as this will damage the bulb. Plant in any fertile, well-drained soil. Many Oxalis varieties spread rapidly and take up plenty of space as ground cover. If you prefer to keep them contained, plant them in pots along the patio. They are frost-tender, so cover with mulch in the late autumn to protect from cold conditions.
