Philadelphus Virginal (commonly known as the Mock Orange due to its delightful scent) is a hardy shrub which produces fully double blooms in purest white. The buds unfurl in early summer, which will provide the garden with yet more fragrance. This Mock Orange is an extremely wildlife friendly shrub. It will bring joy to bees and butterflies as they won't be able to get enough of the nectar rich flowers, whilst its vigorous, upright habit makes it perfect for birds to hide in. We'd recommend planting Philadelphus Virginal by a doorway or seating area, so the gorgeous perfume can be fully appreciated - especially on a warm summers evening with a glass of wine. Height and spread 2m. 40cm loose rooted plants supplied.
