Product Description

The Granvia Collection brings together a trio of vivid strawflower varieties - Gold, Pink Flame and Red Flame - each offering papery, richly coloured blooms that add spirited summer colour to the garden. The collection’s rounded flower heads appear in a mix of warm hues set against neat green foliage, creating an eye-catching display that holds its vibrancy from mid-summer through the season.

Mature plants reach around 50 cm in height and spread, forming tidy, upright mounds that work beautifully en masse or as a part of mixed plantings. Best grown in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil, these annuals respond to warmth with prolific flowering and dependable growth.

Valued for their long-lasting flowers and ability to attract butterflies, members of this Helichrysum collection pair particularly well with contrasting textures from the likes of trailing Petunias, lush Salvias or the architectural lines of ornamental grasses in patio containers, bright borders or pollinator-friendly beds. Their durable stems are also excellent for cutting and display.

Growing at a glance…

Unpack your plants immediately upon arrival and give them a little water if they feel a bit dry. Pot on for 2-3 weeks before planting them out into their final positions outdoors. Alternatively, you can plant these plugs directly outdoors if the weather permits (all risk of frost is gone). Water these plants freely during the growing season and make sure to dead-head spent flowers regularly to prolong their display.
