An exotic and striking Iris germanica variety, 'Gala Madrid' displays a fascinating ruffled appearance where a bright golden colour is shown on the top petals that contrast beautifully against majestic purple petals below that have a burnt chocolate colour at the edges. These unique flowers create a striking appearance when planted at the front of garden borders, patio containers or even as part of a floral display within the home. Reaching a mature height of 70cm, they flower from May to June where they will flourish in sunny areas in fertile, moist soil. First grade loose roots supplied.
