Kalmia latifolia is an exquisite evergreen shrub also known as a mountain laurel. This wonderful variety produces pretty pink crinkled buds that open up into very pale pink bowl-shaped flowers. With splayed slender filaments, the blossoms give the appearance of an over-turned parasol that appeal to pollinators such as bees. Clusters of the enchanting flowers stand up against the glossy dark green leathery leaves. Reaching a mature height of 2m, these bushy evergreen shrubs will look stunning in a bed or border. This is a good low maintenance shrub that will need very little pruning once established. Root ball plants supplied.
