The Best Blooms for Easter Bouquets

Easter is just around the corner, and many of us will be spending time with loved ones. If you're looking for a personalised gift to give your host this Easter, then why not pick the blooms from your garden?!

Plenty of gorgeous flowers are blooming now, even though spring has only just arrived. From daffodils to hyacinths, there are plenty of seasonal options to fill a vase or two with colour - perfect for an Easter table display!

Daffodils

We've seen daffodils shoot up over the last few weeks, and they're a welcome sight after what felt like a very long winter. Daffodils are synonymous with Easter, and this makes them an essential Easter Bouquet addition. The pops of yellow among pastel shades give it an Easter egg theme, and there's truly no beating a quintessentially Easter bouquet.

Tulips

Nothing says spring quite like a tulip. Pairing tulips with daffodils is another essential spring bouquet, and makes the perfect gift. Many of your early-flowering tulips will be appearing in your gardens. Pick them when they're just about to bloom - not during. This helps them last longer in the vase.

Crocus

Speaking of early-flowering blooms, crocus are in their element right now! If you have a shorter vase, we highly recommend picking a few crocuses and muscari for a gorgeous seasonal table-piece.

Hyacinths

Hyacinths are essential additions to any spring bouquet (there seems to be a trend here...). Especially varieties in a pastel shade. Think of your pinks, yellows, and blue hues! Pair them with tulips and daffodils for a fuller bouquet display.

Magnolias

We've all seen the beautiful magnolias that have popped up over the last few weeks. They're perfect blooms for shorter vases, and their full flowers create a unique display for a table or sideboard. Their subtle fragrance also makes them a welcome addition to your home decor.

Irises

Last but certainly not least are spring-flowering irises! These gorgeous blooms pair wonderfully with any of the flowers on this list. Combine them all for an unstoppable bouquet display, or mix and match your favourites for several vases.
