Product Description
Wittemans Best is a gorgeous Cactus Dahlia variety which produces large spiky, vivid red flowers that really bring a dramatic feel to any garden border or patio container display. The long lasting, prominent flowers stand atop tall sturdy stems, making them perfect as cut flowers for the vase or a gift bouquet. Height 90-120cm. Flowers June to September. Top grade dahlia tubers supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
