Our Yew Hedging is a classic native favourite that makes an excellent, long lived hedge. Taxus baccata is a vigorous compact evergreen that forms a wind and drought resistant hedge, sporting narrow leathery forest green leaves, sometimes with fleshy red fruit in autumn. It will tolerate most soils, once established will tolerate dry soils and shaded conditions. It is easy to maintain and manage, trimming and shaping when needed.
