Product Description

Allium ‘Millennium’ is a striking ornamental onion that commands attention with its bold, spherical clusters of rose-pink blooms. Reaching up to 50 cm tall, this perennial adds a touch of drama to garden borders and containers alike. Its robust stems and globe-like flower heads create a captivating vertical element, making it an excellent choice for adding architectural interest to your outdoor space.

‘Millennium’ is a fantastic mid-to-late-summer-flowering Allium, blooming in June and July. Like all Alliums, it attracts a wide range of pollinating insects, such as bees, butterflies and hoverflies. It's perfect for growing in a mixed herbaceous border and is best planted in large groups, where its glossy green foliage and large pink-purple flowers complement other flowering plants in the border.

Grow Allium ‘Millennium’ in moist but well-drained soil in full sun. To achieve the best results, plant bulbs in autumn. For bold summer colour, we suggest pairing it with silvery perennials, smoky grasses or soft pastel companions to highlight its deep tones.
