Astrantia major 'Venice' Potted is a striking and popular cottage garden perennial. It'll produce rich burgundy-purple bracts, each of which form a rosette around a cluster of dainty pincushion flowers. Astrantia are a beautiful and extremely photogenic plant, flowering June to August they are a must have addition to a summer bouquet. They are an excellent cut flower and very popular, and a useful addition to a bed or border.
