Calendula Orange King is a hardy annual that produces large double orange blooms from early summer to early autumn. Also known as 'Pot Marigold', these beautiful blooms have edible petals, which are often used in cooking - usually as a replacement for Saffron.

Growing at a glance…
Sow seeds outside from March to May. Sow each seed about 1.3cm deep. Germination will take roughly 10-15 days. Thin seedlings to roughly 23cm apart. You can sow them earlier for an earlier flowering, from August to September outside.
