Campsis radicans (also known as the trumpet vine), is a rapid climber grown for its clusters of showy, exotic warm red trumpet-shaped flowers are marked with deeper red inside. These tropical-looking flowers are borne in pendulous clusters above long coarsely toothed, glossy dark-green leaves with pointed tips and distinctive veining. The Campsis is a hardy climber, which is self-clinging ideally grown on a sunny wall or fence. Lush green leaves on vigorous twining stems make good cover through the growing season. 9cm pot plants supplied.

They are hardy plants but care should be taken to avoid exposure to extreme winds. They can grow quite tall but can be easily pruned back to a height you can control with little effort.
