Choisya 'Goldfingers' forms a distinctive evergreen presence through its finely dissected foliage, each narrow segment held in a vivid golden-yellow that remains prominent across the seasons. In late spring and early summer, clusters of white, citrus-scented flowers emerge along the stems, set sharply against the luminous leaves.
Reaching around 150 cm in both height and spread, ‘Goldfingers’ develops into a rounded, evenly branched shrub with a naturally composed outline. The finely cut leaf structure gives a lighter visual weight than many broader evergreen shrubs, allowing it to integrate easily into mixed borders, ornamental grass plantings and structured shrub groupings.
Full sun brings out this Choisya’s strongest foliage colour, while light shade is also tolerated in well-drained, fertile soil. It pairs well with Skimmias, Sarcococca and Pittosporum, while deeper-toned companions such as Heucheras and Berberis provide contrast that frames the golden foliage without competing for attention.
