Product Description

Cornflower Black Ball is a gorgeous pollinator-friendly annual bloom. It will produce rounded flowers in rich shades of crimson throughout the summer, attracting bees and butterflies with ease. They can grow quite tall, and as their stems are on the thinner side, they may need support. Leave seeds if you wish after flowering, as they can provide food for birds.

Growing at a glance…

Start indoors 4 to 6 weeks before May to give them plenty of time to establish. Sow seeds outside to a depth of ¼ inch. Press in well as they love darkness. Tolerates an array of soil types and aren't picky on whichever you choose. When seedlings are 5-7cm tall, thin to 15-20 cm apart and replant before flower buds appear. May take around 3 months to harvest from sowing.
