Product Description

After something a bit different for the summer garden? Dahlia Fashion Monger produces single rows of flat petals and a collar of shorter florets, which surround decorative orange centre balls. Loved by bees and butterflies. Their petals appear in shades of deep raspberry with cream edges. They'll flower from summer into autumn with ease. Grows to heights around 80-90cm.

Soil Type Fertile, well drained soil

Growing at a glance…

Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
