Growing at a glance…
Trim lightly in late winter/early spring to remove any unwanted shoots. They should be planted in any fertile soil, as long as there is good drainage. Locate in a sunny or partially shaded area, and do not let the soil dry out, especially in bouts of warm weather. Soak roots in a bucket of water for 1-2 hours before planting. Dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the root system. Firm in gently and water well.
